FAS³ has four types of membership:
Full Member
Full members are afforded all of the right and privileges by the Association. Full members may identify themselves as a “Member of FAS³” when describing affiliation with FAS³. Full Members are allowed full use the FAS³ logo.
- Must be registered business entity in good standing with the State of Florida
- Must have operated this business under the same name for a minimum of five years
- Must comply with the minimum State standards for Worker Compensation
- Must maintain a specified level of liability insurance on a per occurrence basis
- Must be or employ (full time) a state licensed A, B or C contractor or Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG)
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the diagnosing of settlement issues and/or the practice or design of subsurface grouting and/or foundation stabilization solutions with regards to sinkholes
- Must be an entity with an interest in promoting the Association’s goals and upholding its standards.
Associate Member
Associate members are entitled many of the right and privileges afforded by the Association but not all. Associate members must identify themselves as “Associate Members of FAS³” when describing affiliation with FAS³. Associate members are not allowed to use the FAS³ logo. Associate members receive Association communiqué and are allowed to attend and participate in meetings and committees but are not allowed to vote or hold offices.
- Must be registered business entity in good standing with the State of Florida
- Must be striving to meet the requirements for Full Membership and have at least three (3) years in the practice and/or design and/or diagnosis of subsurface remediation and/or foundation remediation with regard to sinkholes
- Must be an entity with an interest in promoting the Association’s goals and upholding its standards.
Affiliate Member
Affiliate members are only entitled limited privileges afforded by the Association. Affiliate members are not allowed to use the FAS³ logo. Affiliate members receive Association communiqué and are allowed to attend and participate in meetings and committees but are not allowed to vote or hold offices.
- Must be a business entity in good standing with the State of Florida
- Must be an entity with an interest in promoting the Association’s goals and upholding its standards.
Individual Member
Individual members are only entitled limited privileges afforded by the Association. Individual members are not allowed to use the FAS³ logo. Individual members receive Association communiqué and are allowed to attend and participate in meetings but are not allowed to participate in committees, vote or hold offices.
- Must be a person who has no corporate affiliation.
- Must be a person with an interest in promoting the Association’s goals and upholding its standards.
