Even with all the changing requirements from the Town of Redington Shores, caused by concerns about storm hardening, he was able to produce an excellent wall for a reasonable price.He was actually the second contractor to try to get our wall done. The first one couldnt get past the citys stringent requirements and just gave up. Paul had the communication skills to make the city happy so that the job could proceed.Depending on your local municipality, expect potential delays in the permitting process. Even with the delays, we completed the project in a reasonable time frame.

Comment: We needed some renovation work on our 42’ seawall (as did two of our neighbors). I had a couple of companies swing by to quote but chose Paul and his crew for the task and my 2 neighbors decided he would do their properties too. Price always comes into play and he was competitive with other quotes we received.We all had new vinyl and the cap was raised another 9” and with tie backs. Wallace, Luis and Domingo, the main crew were great people and did a sterling job with it. Straight lines and smooth finish. About 2 weeks for the 130’ to be done.Paul has been at it close to 30 years so he seemingly knows his stuff, is very personable and is proud of his finished product.I feel very confident in the quality of his work ( and that it will outlive my wife and I :) so I can wholeheartedly recommend Absolute Marine.

Comment: Came out to quote a seawall replacement, Paul was professional in his assessment & got the quote back in a day and very reasonably priced. I contacted a couple of other seawall companies, they made appointments, but then never showed or showed then never sent a quote (frustrating) or worse, said theyd call back and never did. Refreshing these days to have a contractor do what they say theyre going to do. Several of my neighbors have used Absolutes services in the past and theyve all been satisfied, which is how I found out about them and thats good enough for me.

When the storms came in the summer, it started to fall, so I needed a replacement. I called multiple companies and Paul is the only one who gave me the time of day.Paul and his team came in and put up a real, professional seawall perfectly on schedule. His team were respectful and conscious of the rest of my house to ensure they had the least impact as possible.His team accidentally caused minor damage to my fence, which can happen during construction. Paul took full ownership on getting it fixed. No one does this!Paul was extremely easy to reach any time I needed him and was upfront every time we spoke. Comment: After almost a year of research I went with Absolute because of the price, reviews, and walls they had built in the neighborhood. They started the project on time and worked diligently throughout the day each day. Several unexpected issues came up with roots and an old footer and they worked through it with no problem. They seemed to pay great attention to detail, and the final product was even better than expected. I truly did not imagine they could have made a seawall look so good! The new wall had a very tall and wide cap that makes it look more distinguished than the walls around it. The wall is very straight and level, unlike other new walls I have seen in the neighborhood. It is the best looking wall on the block! Trump would be proud of this wall! Paul was very easy to work with and his workers were knowledgeable and respectful. The price was competitive and some extra work was also negotiated for a very fair price. They also have the best guarantee for their work that I have found. Paul had great online reviews; so I consulted him. He provided his expert opinion in a timely fashion. I decided on building a new Vinyl seawall and a new cap. In addition to a high quality end product, he had the best and fair pricing in the Bay area. In two weeks, the team built a brand new mammoth seawall which will outlive me. Comment: I got several quotes for my seawall and dock and I went with Paul. He took the time to explain the entire process and his price was very reasonable. He also took great care to preserve the native plants along my seawall. Paul and his crew did exaclty what he promised. They showed up on time every day and they finished ahead of schedule. They also did an exceptional job of cleaning up my yard when they were done.His crew was amazing. They were professional and courteous. I own a business in Saint Petersburg and if Paul werent such a nice guy I would try to steal his employees!

Comment: You only want to reconstruct your sea wall once in your life. Its an expensive and comprehensive/disruptive process. There are innumerable considerations to such an endeavor as 137 ft of sea wall replacement (landscaping, electrical, irrigation, doc repair, etc.). However, Paul and his crew of 4 amigos, (that includes you, too, Wallace 😉) were the hardest working construction group weve seen. The end product exceeded our expectations and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend this business to anyone needing a sea wall. HATS OFF TO YOU, WELL DONE !!! Gracias por todo, Joann and Terry

Comment: We were not looking forward to the day we needed to replace our seawall. Aside from the cost, we anticipated a total destruction of our back yard along with our landscaping, stamped concrete walks and dock. What would we do with our boat until the work was completed?We contacted Paul at Absolute Marine. He described the process and promised that the boat could stay on the lift, only about 3 feet of the yard would be disturbed and very little, if any, of our walk would be touched. Note that I had gotten another quote from a seawall company and they did describe total destruction. I signed on the dotted line with Paul.From the time they set foot on our property, Mago, Luis, Cuba and Wallace were friendly, efficient, extremely hardworking and very careful to only disturb what was needed to complete the job. It turned out to be better than I could have anticipated. I ended up replacing only 15 pieces of sod. The only cut made to the walk was at my direction. We are very, very happy. Not only do I never have to worry about the wall again, it has added value far above the cost. Thank you Paul. You and your guys are the best.Cliff and Pam Bennett
