I would like to name 2 individuals especially, Nick and Andrew. Nick is the inside contact. He handled most of the paperwork and was extremely thorough and had the answers to all our questions. Andrew was the site supervisor dealing with all the actual construction. He kept me informed what was happening and when. These 2 individuals and all the Arnold Roberts people took most of the pain away dealing with the pandemic and hurricane Ian. Thank you Arnold Roberts

Comment: Building our home with Arnold Roberts Signature Homes was the best decision. During these strange times everyone was faced with due to Covid restrictions, rising costs of materials and labor, and Hurricane Ian, Arnold Roberts Signature Homes stayed the course and completed our home within 11 months from ground breaking. The delays we faced were with the city and the permitting department. We were very impressed with the personal touch Arnold Roberts showed by having one of the owners reach out directly when there were significant price increases prior to making our selections and locking in the prices for the same. He discussed our options and even offered a refund of our deposit if we wanted to go with a different builder. Arnie continued to personally reach out and was available for questions throughout the entire build. In our neighborhood where numerous new houses were recently completed, we’ve spoken to numerous people with many varying complaints about the builder(s) they used. These complaints varied from incomplete and missing items for their respective houses to poor craftsmanship. Hearing these complaints and not having any of our own, helped confirm that we made the right choice by going with Arnold Roberts Signature Homes. We were able to make changes to our home to give it our personal touch. Thank you to the entire staff at Arnold Roberts Signature Homes. We want to specifically thank Bill, Arnie, and Brandon! We love our home and are beyond happy with the choice we made in going with Arnold Roberts.

Comment: We selected Arnold Roberts Signature Homes after an extensive review of more than 10 local home builders over a 3 year period.We selected a Bellamy Royale house design as a starting point. We made many changes to suit our needs: larger pantry, bigger garage, more storage. They were very willing to accommodate changes.They guided us through a seamless selection of building materials: countertops, tile, paint, plumbing and lighting fixtures, appliances, pool and more.Throughout the building process they updated us with photos and took our phone calls whenever we had questions.We were living in Connecticut for most of the build, so communication and photos helped to minimize the anxiety that long distance home building might be.Our home is beautiful. Tremendous quality. And it survived Hurricane Ian unscathed 6 days after we moved in.Thanks especially to Brandon, Joe, Arnie and Bill K.

Comment: Arnold Roberts Review – January 30, 2023Our home was heavily damaged during Hurricane Ian. We flooded and had damage to roof that caused water damage to ceilings, etc. We live on Pine Island and initially contacted the builders on island that we knew to be reputable, but they were busy taking care of the customers that they had built homes for – which is understandable. With so many scammers out there, we were a leery of contractors that were approaching us. We had seen Arnold Roberts display home because it was near our vet’s office and coincidentally, we found out we knew one of their sales employees – who was a neighbor that we trusted.We called Arnold Roberts and they came out within days to look at the house. We really liked them and how they explained the process to us. We signed on with them and within the week we had a team here going over what would be the best way to tackle the rebuild. Rather than having all the different trades coming and going separately – they had all trades come together in one meeting. All discussed best options for each trade and how they would proceed. We were involved in all discussions and pleased that they seemed to be trying to prevent any “surprises” during the build.The cabinet designer also arrived within the first week and showed us a few examples of what they had to offer and drew up a nice design plan for the kitchen and bathrooms. We then went to the showroom and picked out our finishes. This was all within the first two weeks of signing on with Arnold Roberts.Every single person we have worked with has been excellent. They are kind. They listen. They are knowledgeable and offer great advice. They are not upselling and trying to bankrupt us to line their pockets. They have been so helpful at keeping to our budget.The wind adjuster didn’t get on our roof and only flew a drone over, so several small holes in the roof were missed. Since we didn’t know about these holes, they were not covered for the rains that followed the storm. We had damage to the ceilings and insulation. We had water remediation done and 4 foot of the drywall was removed – but before we could proceed with the build we needed to get rid of the remaining ceilings and dry wall because of the wet insulation and ruined ceilings.The demo team arrived two weeks after we signed on and worked so hard from sun up to sun down. They were such hard workers and polite and respectful and easy to talk with.Our home had converted a garage to a bedroom prior to us buying the home. We found, during the flood, that they hadn’t done it properly and only had 2 x 4’s holding up the flooring. This rotted and sunk during the flood. We had to have concrete poured to raise the old garage floor up to the level of the rest of the house. This was framed out and done within the first two weeks as well.That is where we stand as of this writing – but we highly recommend Arnold Roberts for any construction needs you may have. They are so easy to work with. Always available to speak with when you need them and have been compassionate to our situation.

Comment: We went with AR to build our home after seeing the quality home they built for my parents. They were wonderful to work with from the beginning to end even with all the possible worst case scenario’s happening during the build. COVID/ construction boom back orders, discontinued items, and shortages then hurricane Ian right before closing. The quality workmanship of the house is great and held up wonderfully. They are the best possible choice for home builder in this area and would use them again hands down.
