So, when I noticed a leak around our sliders in 2023, I immediately called them. When they began the job, it became evident that the problem entailed more than we thought. There was extensive damage. The crew did a great job. I had confidence that they would take care of the problem and it would be done right. After they completed the repair, Dave returned twice to check out things before he signed off. Once again, our home is in good shape.

Comment: I am so grateful to David and his crew for coming out and fixing our chimney that was leaking into our house. It had been fixed by some guys the prior owner hired before we closed on the house. Once our new wood floors started to swell, we realized the plywood and vinyl had been replaced, but the cause of the leak hadnt been fixed. We decided this wasnt going to be a job for my husband and a couple buddies. So we decided to go with a reputable company who will stand behind their work. Art construction replaced the roof on one of our rentals after the hurricane and did an excellent job, so naturally we gave them a call. David came out within 2 days and we had an estimate that day. The chimney was rebuilt in the time frame promised (weather permitting), and it looks amazing! Now we can replace our floors knowing theyll stay dry. Thanks Art Construction!

My latest experience is with squirrels in my attic. I called ART and asked if they could find anything that needed sealing. In no time at all, Dave Barlup was on my roof. He inspected the roof and found one cosmetic problem and one possible issue that could be the key to the squirrel problem. Recently however our roof developed leak. Not necessarily unusual but what was most gratifying was Art constructions response. I dropped by their office and talked to Sheila their office manager who scheduled an appointment when I could be at home. Roger showed up a little early, evaluated the problem and said he’d go get what he needed to repair it and be right back. True to his word Roger returned within an hour. He spent the next few hours in the August sun and fixed the issue. The reason I posted this is that in these times it’s so unusual for companies to show up on time and fix what you need fix immediately. Since the repair we have had several severe storms and we are as dry a bone. Thank you Art Construction and Roger for a job well done.

The floating dock that they made to our specifications was spot on and it is made very well. It was completed on time as promised! The neighbor asked me to call Art Construction since his roof was only 3 yrs old & I noticed a shingle missing on the ridge vent area. I called, was assured that he would pay for repair since we’ve had bad storms. I simply agreed and ask the young lady on the phone to be fair with the price of repair and I’ll pay for it. The price was shocking, but all prices at that time were. They showed up quickly and the job looks professional. We had one leak that we just noticed (of course after the interior ceilings were repaired). They came out the next day even considering this was holiday season, and was working on it right after Christmas. Seem to be really good folks.

Everything was on point, from sales, to the office staff, to the crews that repaired my roofs. The completed work was A+ and the cleanup was phenomenal! I felt so reassured in their work that I had them do my mother’s home, my mother in law’s home, and all my rentals. Hat’s off to Ryan Vess, the salesman that worked with me. Ryan’s bid work on the properties was stellar which led to virtually no waste (extra supplies shingles etc..). That just takes years of experience and I can tell that Ryan has it. A special thanks to Giovanni the project manager in charge of my home and my mothers. He made the work flow smoothly and the roofs look great. The unfortunate thing with recovering from the hurricane is how much time it takes to get supplies and Art Construction understood my sense of urgency and did their best to replace the roof. My only disappointment was having parts of my previous roof laying in my yard after they replaced it. I talked with Art Construction about my disappointment and they understood and apologized (i felt was a genuine apology) and I could definitely see myself doing business with them again.

Travis Arnold, who completed our estimate, talked with us from the beginning and continued to do so via phone, text etc and was fabulous! He is so professional and knowledgeable and most importantly truthful. The office staff there are also very knowledgeable and helpful and even helped my wife pick out the color of roof shingles with which we are very pleased. They also do metal roofing. And they supply you with a Wind Mitigation Report which is important for insurance purposes. Comment: Don Jackson and Ryan Vess are two of the GCs working for Art construction.Don handles construction and Ryan handles roofing. I was fortunate to hire Art to repair the sever damage to my house. Their framing team came shortly after the hurricane hit. They evaluated the damage to the house and within 3 weeks, had custom trusses built to replace the ones I lost. Next their framing team replaced my North gable and installed the damaged trusses. They then examined my house and brought the other gables up to code. They did many other things such as replace damaged sofit and fascia and returned my house to a condition that was better than before the storm. After the framers finished their work, Art brought in a crack team of roofers. The men worked long days to tear off the roof, remove damaged plywood and replace the shingles with some amazing GAF shingles. I strongly suggest anyone who needs structural work and a new roof consider Art. Ask for Don and Ryan to handle your house. You will not be disappointed.

Your estimator also agreed to do a wind mitigation survey and resubmit the claim to the insurance company using a program similar to what they use so i can question some of their details. The roofing crew did a great job and worked quickly and did a good job. I had one leak at the chimney cover and they sent someone out immediately to correct it. Comment: After a storm ripped through our subdivision, my neighbors began getting estimates from different roofers. Our roof was beginning to show signs of needing replacement so we knew it was time. There were seven estimates done by Art Construction the day we had our estimate done. The crew arrived ready to work around 9 am. They worked hard all day and explained what was being done and asked if we had any questions. We did need to replace four boards, one was included in the estimate pricing. After working all day, the installation was completed by 5 pm. I went outside to take a look at the roof and the dumpster was already removed from my driveway and the yard looked as if no one had been there. Our roof looks great!
