Comment: Might be a little long but, this company deserves me sharing all that they did for us!I wanted to take a moment to recommend Black Diamond Hardscape who really stepped up and went above and beyond! Two weeks ago we were really in a bind after a long and unfortunate ordeal with a different paver company. I had created a post as a sort of warning to others explaining all we had been through the last 8 months.Dan from Black Diamond commented offering his help. We arranged a time to meet that next Monday. He showed up on time, we walked through our situation and what our hopes for our project would be and he was able to get us a quote by the next day. Our situation was unique because we had our pavers delivered but, our original contractor was on the run.Dan really renewed our confidence and we decided to move forward with him and his team with a start date of the following Monday. Imagine my surprise when on Saturday a crew showed up to get a head start on prepping some of the areas for the following week! Believe me when I say after chasing the other guy around for as long as we did this was a welcome relief and an impressive start!Dan’s crew showed up on time every morning. They were swift and impressive with how much they accomplished each day. They were tidy and cleaned up before leaving each evening. And they somehow performed miracles with getting all of our wish list done even when they were working within some limits not of their own creation because of the situation they inherited!We will forever sing their praises!!! And I urge you to put them on your list if you are thinking about a paver or hardscape project. After such a terrible start, Black Diamond Hardscape did such a beautiful job and really turned everything around!

The team came and worked all day, they guys knew what they were doing and were professional and courteous.We had a retaining wall torn down and had Black Diamond hardscape replace the unsafe retaining wall. Far in advance of our pool being done, Dan with Black Diamond Hardscape came out and gave an estimate on a retaining wall to help finish off the landscaping for our pool. He explained the process, and worked with us as the pool slowly finished so that we get everything done timely. The design they created was spot on my vision of what I was looking for. Communication was excellent, and we communicated easily when something came up. Not only was the work completed with great craftsmanship in a difficult area, the site was left spotless with no construction debris left laying around. Dan helped us pick the right Belgard pavers for our installation and then worked around the frequent rains to get the work finished in a single day. Comment: Black Diamond is one of those good, reliable, hard to come by companies. Their quotes are reasonable, they work quickly, and they stand by their work. I have called them out several times to fix problems from other companies or to tackle really tricky jobs. They come up with great solutions, and if for some reason those dont work out, they fix any related issues for free. I recommend them to anyone in the greater Orlando area. Did we make the right decision? Would we be sorry? This was a big deal for us! It included our house, a curved sidewalk, an entranceway, plus my moms property and I was nervous. Ends up they WERE too good to be true! Not only did they install everything perfectly, they were ahead of schedule! They helped us from the very start when we needed guidance on a curved area, and help picking the right color. They continuously monitored everything, checked in with us about everything, and designed 2 tricky areas beyond our expectations.
