Comment: I recently purchased one of your carports. It is both attractive and well built. The installation procedures was professional. I look forward to using your product for many years to come.EDIT: This is my first Google review. I don’t write reviews online but was forced to give Discovery Buildings a five star review under threat of them keeping my deposit. I ordered a carport and sent a picture of my deposit check ($717.60). I informed the salesman, Christian that I didn’t need a permit to erect a building on our property but Carolina Carports told me they wouldn’t put one up without permission from my county so I ordered a building from Affordable Sheds in Melbourne, Florida who wouldn’t require county permission. Discovery Buildings wouldn’t return my deposit. I spoke with the owner, Blake and she said she would give me credit if I bought another building from them, that she would use a different manufacturer that wouldn’t require a permit. I ordered a smaller building. The new deposit was $301.56. They would only give me my final $416.04 if I wrote a five star Google review for them. Before my order, I spoke with Blake and Christian on the phone at length and mentioned my trepidation after reading the negative reviews but she assured me that I would not have problems with her company. I am happy with my building but felt like I was fighting every step of the way to get my deposit money back.

Comment: We are in the process of using Discovery Buildings for our 20 X 26 Metal Building. The process has been seamless and working with Scott has been a pleasure we have had to make three revisions based on unforeseen circumstance and each time Scott has been super responsive getting the change order in place. Based on our experience we would use them again!!

Comment: Don Tait is very well versed on what it takes to put in a building. One of the first thing he told me was to go to county zoning and see what they would let me do. Turns out in rural residential your outbuildings can be no larger than 50% of your air conditioned living space. (a window unit on my back porch saved me) I couldnt go above 1000 sq. ft. Don helped me fill out the permit applications in Carolina Carports name.. All in all it was a good experience in spite of dodging hurricanes and such. No problems dealing with Carolina Carport. Building is a good value for the money I spent.

Comment: We went back and forth on so many designs. I think DB should have been exhausted. But they took care of us. We haven’t had any issues with the building either. We even spoke to them about some of their bad reviews to get a context. I can’t speak for the entire company but Blake took care of us %100. We will be contacting them in the future for some more buildings as well.-Austin

Comment: Competitive pricing and fast response. Devon was brilliant to work with and had answers for all my questions within a day. This was a new idea and concept for me. I have never had to hire someone to build before, much less over the phone, and his patience with the questions I had was exceptional. I appreciate what they did and cannot be more pleased with the results. I will definitely come back to them when I add a second building.
