Comment: Hern Construction demolished the existing kitchen in our 100-year old NE house, rebuilt an outside wall, and built a brand new, modern functioning kitchen, powder room, and butler’s pantry updating all utility systems, coordinating and managing all sub-contractors resulting in a gorgeous kitchen of the highest quality aesthetically and functionally. Hern’s workers on the job were highly professional, extremely friendly and polite, and attentive to our needs. We enjoyed working with Christian and his crew who exhibited an exceptional degree of transparency and integrity. We highly recommend Hern Construction and would definitely use them again for other building projects.

Comment: If your looking for a ethical, conscientious and professional builder, choose Hern Construction. They completely renovated my house down to the outside walls. They worked well with my wife and I through the entire, almost 12 month project. They listen and Christian Hern personally took care of any questions we had. Their employees are friendly, clean and respectful. Any home construction that Im paying for in the future will be done by Hern Construction!

Comment: Christian recently remodeled our hundred year old home in the Old Northeast section of St Petersburg. It was a real labor of love as it is the house my wife grew up in. Christian worked with us and our architect to preserve the character of the home but also to completely modernize the inside. We know how well he succeeded by the many compliments we received from passing neighbors who commented how beautiful the year long remodel turned out and how the house completely maintained its charm and beauty. I would highly recommend Christian’s Hern Construction for any remodel or new construction. He was always a pleasure to work with and also has a very friendly and knowledgeable office staff that are always extremely polite and helpful.

Comment: Hern Construction did a major addition and renovation on our 1922 home in St. Petersburg. The addition included a complete kitchen renovation, full bath, half bath, family room, laundry room, and large covered porch. Extreme attention to detail in matching floors, moldings, and trim work to maintain the integrity of the original structure. Quality craftsmanship, accommodating to changes, and great people to work with.

Comment: Hern Construction is absolutely superior! Have no reservation hiring them for your next project! After having a terrible experience with another contractor who destroyed our home in an attempt of adding on an addition and leaving it almost inhabitable, we didnt know where to turn. Thats when Christian, owner of Hern Construction stepped in. He and his crew took quick action to repair all the damage expertly and then put our house back together leaving us with a beautiful home! Christian and his crew exemplified professionalism at its best! They were always punctual, delivered high quality workmanship, had very fair prices and were very easy to work with. We can not be happier with the end product and just wish we found Hern Construction to start. Our deepest appreciation to Christian and his crew.

Comment: Professional, prompt and beautiful work! Hern Construction helped us build two bars, from the craftsmanship of the bar, high tops and tables, to the floors and bathrooms. The owner is professional and also friendly, helpful and a calming force during buildout, which can be potentially intense and stressful.
