Comment: Had the exterior of my home painted by HKS. I had 5+ different colors they had to match. Every thing matches perfectly! Also, these are the cleanest painters I have seen. Of all my landscaping, surrounding brick, there is not one drop of paint. Considering all the colors against each other that was a tedious task. Great communication throughout the bidding and into invoicing/payment process. I 100% recommend them for any of your needs.

Comment: New Construction Downtown Pensacola, FLI wanted to take my time writing this review from the sale, build, moving in and Hurricane Sally. It was not my intent to know that several months after I moved in Sally would be in my life for 48 hours. If you want a builder who cares about you and your future home do not look any further than HKS, Inc.• SaleI originally looked at a house that HKS, Inc built on D Street, but someone beat me to it. I loved the craftmanship and attention to detail so I knew that I wanted them to build my next VRBO. I spoke with Joel and he was starting another house downtown and without hesitation I put in an offer without even seeing the floor plans. I had been looking for a few months, so I knew that they were the builder for me.• BuildThe build took a little longer due to all the new restrictions the Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) implemented after Joel had already submitted his plans. I was more than willing to wait because I knew the outcome would be worth every dime I spent and without any regret. At his own cost he had to make changes and resubmit. I was able to pick out every detail of the house from paint, fixtures, closet doors and so on. Joel and Jonah were highly informative and helpful and made sure I understood each step and why they were doing it. They used the best subcontracts from Sheetrock Finishers, Electrical and Plumbing and so on.• Moving InThe time had a finally arrived and Covid-19 became my new normal. Everything was easy and seamless, and they stopped by on several occasions to make sure we were happy and if I need anything.• Hurricane SallyAll I can say is the house never shook, swayed or even made a noise. It is a solid house and not 1 shingle flew off the roof and not a drop of water dripped. We felt safe and secure.I could not be happier with this house and I have had many compliments. My husband and I are looking to build our forever home in the next year and we could not imagine using any other builder. I just hope HKS will be able to fit me in their schedule.Kim Dellinger

Comment: Absolutely love Jonah & Joel. They are top notch and we are so glad we found them. Everything we asked they made happen. And the best part is they were so neat & clean! Yup they cleaned up every day!!! After nearly 3 months we were sad to see our house renovation come to an end but we’ve got future plans to renovate again and will definitely be contacting HKS. Comment: Joel and Jonah do not construct houses, they CREATE HOMES. The very first moment I crossed the threshold of my front door, ‘HOME’ filled my heart. Comment: I had an issue where I needed a new roof and the existing roof was trapping water in low spots. I called multiple roofing companies to fix the problem with no luck. Finally a roofer said why don’t you you find a licensed contractor to do the repairs and he will probably have a preference on who does the roof. I’m so glad I took that advice. HKS has been wonderful from start to finish and they performed everything they said they would without hesitation. I will definitely using them for every project that I do in the future. Thanks for your hard work HKS you can use me for a reference any time.

Comment: Good workmanship! Excellent service. Being realtors and builders means that they know the current market. They visited multiple houses with me, and were able to point out problems I a normal realtor would not have even noticed.When I finally settled on a house they were able to talk the owner down 5% and work out a deal to fix it up during closing. Their workmanship was thorough, tight, and professional.They had contacts for everything not just inspections, and insurance but also for trades that would need to be called in after I closed. They proactively got quotes and walked me through options for every detail, which made me feel much more comfortable about buying a house.10/10 would recommend.

Comment: My family has had a relationship with HKS Inc for many years. My mom and dad used them for a general repairs and light construction when Mr. Joel Rios was first starting his business. They remain clients to this day.I recently hired them to help empty and clean out the house in Gulf Breeze, as my elderly mother moved across the country to be with the rest of her family. It was a difficult and emotional job but Joel and his son Jonah made the task much easier for me.Unlike a lot of contractors, they actually showed up when they said they would and stayed in communication with me. They were pleasant, professional, and I would recommend HKS, Inc.without hesitation to anyone who wants a local company who will give friendly, personal service to your project.

Comment: Our experience with HKS, owners Joel and Jonah Rios will give us a lifetime of memories in the last home my husband and I will ever live in.They took notice to every little detail we discussed with them. Their subcontractors are kind and honest and meet HKS deadlines. I am an Interior Decorator and I can honestly say scaling down for our retirement (I’ll never retire, lol!) its the most beautiful house I have ever lived in. Every detail is perfect.
