Comment: We are delighted with the quality and professionalism of the HL Posey team. We recently purchased the empty lot next door with the plan of building a Florida garden. We envisioned a central sun shelter in the garden and paver pad and pathway that connected the house with the garden. We are thrilled with the result! Big thanks to Tyler, Caleb, and Matthew for their great work on the pergola. The paver team was outstanding and showed tremendous expertise in their attention to detail. And thank you to Laurie Posey who coordinated the job from start to finish! We still have lots of work to do with landscaping and furnishing but we now have a great start with the completion of this project.

Comment: Our family started our move to SW Florida in 2020 and during that time we had a vision of constructing a larger outdoor entertaining space than our previous home. The challenge was finding a company that we could partner with, that not only could do what we envisioned, but also provide the flexibility to work with us in potential design changes and an ability to offer their expertise in filling in design gaps for our vision during the process.After our numerous concept discussions with Laurie and Henry, we knew HL Posey would be the right partner for us.Our overall concept was to construct an outdoor pavilion with a large kitchen/bar and serving area under the lanai, but also wanted a seamless look throughout the space.Ground breaking kicked off in March of 2021 after finalizing the designs, permits and approvals with the pool company and HL Posey. Coordination was key for the project with overlapping pool installation and pavilion construction. During this time, supply issues arose around the economic conditions, though the Posey Team put together alternative plans which we believe turned out better in the long run.Additionally, Laurie and Henry were fantastic with suggestions to help close the design gaps for the seamless transition from the lanai area, to the pavilion, as well as the rest of the outdoor space. Some critical suggestions were involving how to make the different areas flow together using matching stone facing, tile, tongue and groove ceiling planks in the lanai and pavilion to give the entire area a completed seamless look.During the entire project, the whole installation team was very professional. They took the time to make minor adjustments in order to coordinate with the installation of the bar counters and bar counter lighting. In addition, Josh did some amazing finishing work around our hurricane screens so that even the smallest details gave the project a picture perfect look. As for a final touch, can’t say enough about the octopus towel rack that Phil made.Our outdoor space is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend HL Posey to friends regularly. Comment: 100 Stars!!!!Ceiling Install & Outdoor Kitchen RemodelEnough cannot be said about the entire HL Posey team! From beginning to end, the process was perfect. Lucas, Noah and the entire crew worked hard turning our outdoor space into something magical. These guys work hard, are efficient and extremely tidy. I’ve experienced many construction crews in my time and NO ONE has ever been this clean (that’s important to me). They are polite, have fun and appear to be a great team.Elena came to our home and helped us turn our vision into a reality. She had great ideas, several of which I would have never thought of. She knows what she’s doing and I really enjoyed working with her.Even their dog Hennessy, who I met at their shop, was perfect. 😊I can’t wait to find another project for them to help us complete. If you are reluctant in anyway, don’t be, they are awesome!

Comment: We recently partnered with HL Posey Builders for the completion of our outdoor kitchen in Estero, FL which also included installing a tongue and groove ceiling.This was one of the best decisions we made in terms of identifying the right company to partner with to bring our vision to life. After multiple interactions / quotes from various companies, we ultimately decided to move forward with HL Posey. From the design phase with Josh and Elena all the way through to the actual installation under Jeremy’s leadership, it truly is a first class run operation all the way around. There are no words to describe how impressed we were across all aspects of our project - they exceeded every expectation. We found the entire HL Posey team that we interfaced with to be very customer centric, highly responsive, extremely skilled and talented, and the quality of work was off the charts. Most importantly for us was there were NO surprises along the way, which speaks to the attention to detail on the front end of the process and the complete transparency across the entire project timeline. I have not done business with a company who communicated to the level and with the effectiveness that we experienced with HL Posey.In conclusion, and since moving to Florida in 2021, I have not found another company that I would recommend more so than HL Posey. They checked all the boxes for us from initial inquiry to the design and pre sales phase and through to the on-site installation. I want to personally say thank you to all the employees who went above and beyond during the course of the project. Comment: The entire HL POSEY staff and crew is phenomenal! From the moment we met Josh & Laurie, we felt we had finally found a reliable & professional SWFL builder for our outdoor kitchen remodel into a wet bar, and the building of a new outdoor kitchen on our newly expanded lanai. Together we planned the layouts first with Josh, then fine tuned it all with Laurie and Henry. We discussed and agreed upon deadlines that were attainable, even in light of supply chain issues. Laurie was always up front and responsive to our needs or concerns, and timely with notification of when the crew would be working at our home. The building crew was friendly and extremely professional, and always took time to inform on what they planned to complete that day as well as the how and why behind aspects of the build. A big shout out to Josh, Caleb, Jeremy, Virgil, Phil, and all the guys that helped make our vision a reality! We LOVE it!

Comment: Last April I had HL Posey install stone veneer on the front of my Bonita Springs home. Henry and Laurie were very responsive and easy to work with. They answered my many questions about the prep work and how they would be installing the stone. Everything was done when and as promised. The completed project looks really nice.This year I built a small outdoor kitchen on my lanai. Henry and Laurie helped me with the selection of a grill, exhaust hood, refrigerator, and door/drawer combo to best fit my space, needs, and budget. They are a wealth of information on outdoor kitchens! I shopped around for the exact same items and got the best price from HL Posey. They were also able to supply me with the aluminum frame material and vent pipe. Everything was delivered quickly and in perfect condition.Even though this was a DIY project, Henry helped me solve numerous challenges during the construction process that saved me a lot of time and aggravation. They were also able to connect me with two of their sub-contractors to handle the roof and granite work that I couldnt do myself. Their help was instrumental in my completion of a project that looks great and is very functional.Hl Posey was great to work with on both projects. They are friendly, honest, very knowledgeable, and you can rely on them to deliver on their commitments.

Comment: I hired HL Posey to demo an outdoor fireplace/TV hearth area and replace it with an outdoor kitchen. From the very beginning they worked with me to get to a price that was within my budget, and also made useful suggestions. They communicated very well with me during the construction, even though I was away from the location throughout the process. Comment: HL Posey helped design and build our outdoor bar area in our Lanai. They were VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGABLE, POLITE AND ACCOMODATING. Elena was superb coming on site and listening then drawing up the plans. Helped to make sure we had the best product. Laurie also was great when we called in with questions. Always let us know ahead of time what to be prepared for. On sight doing the install Caleb, Jeremy and Matt along with others did an amazing job. And again they were so intent on listening to what we wanted and performed excellent work. We couldnt be happier!!!! We highly recommend them for anything outdoor living.
