Comment: About three plus years Housemans built a screened porch for me. It leaked from the get go. After many service calls and attempted repairs, it still leaked. After all of this hassle I sort of gave up.Fast forward three years later: out of warranty, I started calling again for repair. Alex was on it, and an amazing advocate for this case.With Marks support, they had Andy come out. He figured out what actually needed to be done to repair this roof, which was no small task, but its done- and no extra charge, and no leaks- even after all of this crazy storming weather!This experience with Housemans shows true business integrity, which seems rare these days. They were reluctant to make an appointment as their work schedule was so far out. But they did make it & they were there at the time & date stated. They did the estimate & called us with the good/bad news, depending on which side of the checkbook you are on. We discussed the options & as I had no experience I asked for the best estimate possible to accomplish the repairs. The estimate was provided the next day. I have no idea if the estimate is reasonable or outrageous but Housman was the only company willing to come & look & advise us the best way to proceed. Comment: Housmans Aluminum recently extended our screened porch to the end of our house. Although it was initially a slow start, I can chalk that up to Palm Bay Covid issues. They pulled a legitimate permit, poured a good slab, and built a rugged screen enclosure with gutters onto our house. Once they got the permit, they worked quickly and in two full days built a quality expansion onto our existing screened porch. They included heavy duty gutters with downspouts that I wasnt expecting.Time will tell how it holds up, but their attention to detail seems like they care.Id like to see them come up with a solution to existing soffit and making it better ascetically match the extension, maybe replacing the perforated soffits with aluminum sheet, but thats purely cosmetic. Overall Im initially happy with their work and will follow up if necessary.

Comment: Again, we had Housmans come out and provide an estimate; again they were timely and in the ballpark. This time we contracted them to build our back patio screen enclosure. The process was delayed in time due to their engineering and then pushing it through the county for permitting. Finally, 11 weeks after getting the estimate/contracting them for the job the crew began the project. I have minor issues with the job, the materials and structure was done very well. However, there was a disconnect with my vision and the end design; for one our screen door was suppose to be on line with out fence gate and it was erected off center to the right; no need to throw a fit about this as the damage is done, but it taught me that in the future always have the contractors go over exactly what was discussed by the estimators, engineers and crew before the work is started. The other issue was the integral gutter connection to the roof and existing seamless gutter; as this seemed to be different every-time you talk with someone, and the end result created a seam at the 30 mark of the roof line. Am I satisfied with the work; Yes.Would I use them again, Yes. But Id be more involved in the process than I was in this process, since I believed my design would have been incorporated into the end result, which it wasnt. We have a nice product; and well live with the problems that werent communicated properly during the project.Contacted Housemans just last week and they set up an onsite inspection within days. The estimator came out and provided a hard copy quote for the job we were seeking with a detailed diagram and information packet. Cant ask for much more. So far Ive received two quotes for the job and they are only $20 apart on prices - waiting for the last quote to come in before I decide on the company to go with; with that being said I would feel very comfortable with this company taking on the job.

Comment: I am writing this review on behalf of my parents. They have recently had two screening jobs performed at their home by Housmans. The first was a screened entryway. My mom saw some extra screen material hanging a few days after job was complete. She called, someone came and rectified the matter and all was good. More recently their entire pool enclosure needed to be re-screened. All workers showed up on time, were knowledgable about their jobs and cleaned up after themselves. It was a big job. They are professional and polite, a pleasure to do business with. My parents received a follow-up customer service call to be sure they were happy with the job done. Based on the two jobs petformed at my parents home, I would highly recommend Housmans Aluminum and Screening, as do my parents.

Comment: I had called numerous contractors in the area. These guys were very professional and responsive. They were able to give me an exact time frame for Tim, the Sales Rep to come out and thats exactly when he showed up. Tim was quite pleasant to deal with. The scope of work along with my requested optional pricing was quite comprehensive and I had a very clear and detailed quote in my email the very next day.Furthermore, the office staff assisted me with getting all the documents in order for my HOA. They went the extra mile to create some nice visuals in 3D to make the HOA process a breeze. The turn around time on the whole project was a little bit longer than I had hoped by they advised me of this from the very beginning and that was no surprise to me. There were a couple problems along the project but were dealt with in a very professional and responsive manner. I understand that there was a lot that went into this project, between the Certified Engineer, Building Department, Surveyors, Concrete and Paver Installation and Electrician.... until the completion of my beautiful Screen Enclosure. I called them and they brought in the big guns, meaning they have already been venturing with all the right people to make this happen.Speaking of Installation. Their installers were very respectful, courteous and also very pleasant to deal with. They obviously know what they are doing and A.J. and Randy impressed me with their knowledge and experience and how much pride they take in their work. Anybody they recommended to work on my property has lived up to their standards as well.The material is top notch. Love the Fasteners! Nobody has offered a better warranty on this stuff. 5 Stars.
