I feel very confident in recommending them to anyone, and especially my friends and family. They are true craftsmen and everyone we have met from OCD is committed to excellence from initial preparation to final cleanup. They take your project seriously and do not over-promise.We have worked directly with OCD twice. If OCD does what we are looking for, then we call them and we will wait to get on their calendar if necessary. The first project they did for us was a complete ceiling scrape, texture and paint. They did an excellent job on that project as well as this one. This project was a ceiling repair in our kitchen from a water leak. It was a tough job no doubt, but being the craftsman that he is, Todd used a variety of resources to prepare for the task and he came to our home and did an outstanding job patching our ceiling and matching the texture. While talking with Todd during his time in our home, it became evident that he is committed to continuous learning, and improving his (already excellent) skillset, which I admire and appreciate. The next day, James and Jeff came in and did a fantastic job painting our kitchen and den ceiling. Im not sure if it is part of the OCD culture or if they are just good at hiring people that are naturally bent this way, but it seems like everyone tries to do a little more than what is required in the contract.In our experience, if OCD says they will be there at 0900, what they mean is that they will be there in time to prepare equipment and supplies so that work will begin at 0900. OCD does not rush or cut corners, but they dont waste time either. They maintain that optimum pace that keeps the positive momentum going without rushing. Their scheduling is dialed in and their time estimates are accurate. One of the many benefits of working with OCD is that Charlson knows really good people in associated fields if the project requires other specialties. In our case we had the possibility of mold due to the water leak and Charlson had contacts that gave us a very timely response and excellent performance. I really appreciate that Charlson takes care of his people and was not going to expose them to an unsafe/unhealthy job site. He was very firm about getting the potential mold situation properly resolved before his crew came in to do their portion of the work.

Comment: Everyone I dealt with at OCD Painting and Flooring, from Charlson to his site manager and individual employees, was responsive to my questions and replied promptly.Not having had a house painted in many, many years, at first the price was more than I expected. After seeing how the job was done, I was truly impressed and thought it was worth every penny! It was a true value for the amount of work that was done and the materials that were used.All the paints used for this job were Sherwyn Williams paints. The painting crew dug back dirt and mulch away from the house on allexterior walls, pressure washed the entire house, driveway, sidewalk, and shed (including soffit snd fascia), caulked around all windows and entryways, filled all cracks with masonry patch, coated all walls with Loxon conditioner (That prepared the walls by bonding any chalky residue remaining after pressure washing and ensured the Sherwyn Williams Lifetime warranty on their paint), and painted our shutters and window ledges in the color we chose.Also, they painted our aluminum screenrooms using a pro-industrial water-based paint, and painted the front and back lanais with double coats of Acryladec after grinding out and filling in a crack with epoxy and skimming the entire lanai and applying texture.Being very professional, the OCD paintersmasked things and covered windows and other areas with plastic. They painted with care, and used two coats of paint, just like my dad used to do. These painters are truly professional and treat their work like an art. The job took a few days longer than expected, but it was due to some rainy and damp days. To me, that was preferable to trying to rush a job.My choice was Loxon self-cleaning paint which can easily be hosed down with water.Kudos to OCD Painting and Flooring for taking great pride in their work and for providing excellent service!

Comment: My house had a bad paint job from the original builder/painter, where the paint was discolored and honestly just looked terrible. I was also concerned about it not being sealed well for water. I worked with OCD Painting to re-do it the right way! They spent all week: power washing and filling stucco cracks as prep work; Then they applied three coats: a conditioner for the freshly-cleaned stucco; an elastomeric waterproofer, and finally, the top coat of paint I had selected (a top-quality long-lasting paint). They hand-rolled it to ensure better coverage. The house looks FANTASTIC, I couldnt be more pleased with the thorough job they do. I would definitely hire again! Not only does my house look great again, but I know that it is properly sealed for the Florida weather. The crew was always courteous and professional, and never hesitated to take the time for any questions or requests. Great people to work with.

They trenched around the entire house, pressure washed, painted the entire exterior including our soffit/fascia, gutter downspouts and sealed our stonework.When the crew was done Charlson did a final inspection to make sure it was all done correctly. Comment: If you are getting ready to sell your home or you need someone to come out in the next few days to paint a house, call another painter. People in those situations either dont need a quality paint job or wont get one from anyone who has immediate openings. There are plenty of guys who can slap a coat of cheap paint on your house and make it look better until it sells. That is not what OCD does.OCD was not the cheapest bid for my home, but their attention to detail just in the bidding process made me realize why my roofer only gave me one name as a reference on painting my home. The quality of their work was clearly evident in the finished result.They may take a few weeks to get you on their books, but theyre worth the wait and youll find that is always the case with good painters. It takes time, because professional contractors and property managers, who deal with painters all the time, keep painters like OCD busy. Professionals have woked with other painters and they try to find the best value, but end up going back to a quality contractor who might charge more, because it saves them money in the long run.

With care, they fixed doors, brought our patio back to life and finally finished work we had put off for much too long.
