Comment: We chose to build with Quality Homes of PC after reviewing many other builders in the area and on the recommendation of a friend who used them for their new home. We definitely made the right choice. We were still living in New Jersey at the time and it was during the height of the pandemic that we started the process so it wasn’t exactly the ideal situation for any of us.Thankfully it went as smoothly as it could have under the circumstances. Communication was a bit difficult at times with us being 1200 miles away and with the sheer volume of work and pressure that Quality was under but they made it all worthwhile in the end. We absolutely love this house.Standard options for fixtures, flooring and countertops at Quality are upgrades with most of the builders we looked at. The workmanship on the house was excellent, they built this house to last. We moved in the first week of August 2022 and of course hurricane Ian hit right after we got settled in. Aside from a dead tree falling on the house and putting a small hole in the roof there was zero storm damage to the house. Not one shingle came loose and all windows (impact glass) were intact. Britany and Chris came by the day after the storm to see how we were and if there was anything they could for us. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the build or the level of service we received with them. We would recommend them to anyone looking to build in southwest Florida.

Comment: I had two houses built by Quality Homes, one in 1995 and the other in 2019. The first one we had for over 20 years, it survived hurricane Charley with minor roof damage, even though in those days the hurricane codes did not exist. We sold it in 2018, and the inspector did not find anything wrong with the house except for outdated type of plumbing pipes. The second house was built in 2018, and when it came the time to move out of Florida and sell it in 2022, it was hard to part with it, we loved it so much. Again, the inspector couldnt find a single thing to put in his report. I guess what I am trying to say is: if you are considering building a home in Southwest Florida, Quality Homes of Port Charlotte is the best builder to choose.

( I had meeting with three builders ).His communication skill is amazing. He customized the house exactly how we wanted. Nothing was a problem. Like every big project, we went through some difficulties in the process. The Hurricane and the shortage of materials and contractors didnt help. We are finally here and we absolutely love our dream house. Yes, there are some touch-ups, Mr.Pete is here for us and he is the awesome handyman who can fix everything.the only think what I would like to mention is- we are from Michigan, and we could not control what is happening in the house and some of my upgrades end up not exactly how i wanted done. Anyway, in the end, everything is great. Most important is - the house was tested with hurricane Ian and sustained great. I hope that is how is going to continue. I suppose to write something about money. Hm...I think- when you build a house, you have to expect some extra expenses. Comment: Picking a home building company can be overwhelming and scary. This was the first ( and likely last ) home I have ever had built and I had no idea what to expect. You always hear the horror stories about building companies and how you have to be on top of them the whole time. So I was prepared for a rocky stressful experience.To my surprise, the experience I had with Quality Homes was absolutely delightful. Im sure there are home building companies out there that are stressful, maybe even most of them, but Quality Homes was fantastic!Every step of the way was a pleasant experience. I got to go into their office and choose all my homes details, the colors, the tile, the sink faucets. It truly is a custom home and that part was very fun!One thing that I liked a lot, is that they really did just take care of everything. I picked out the details and everything else they just handled. I have a very busy life with little free time, and I never had to worry about if they were getting things done or not, they were on top of everything the whole time.I have been living in my new home for a few weeks now, and even after closing, if you notice anyting little ( paint touch ups and such ) that need to be done, they come out and fix it immediately ( Thanks Chris!) . It feels like they truly want to see you happy with your home.The quality is exceptional, the customer service is fantastic and the home is wonderful. If we ever build another home, we will absolutely be using Quality Homes again!Thank you Quality Homes for my amazing house!

The home has provided us with a solidly built, worry free residence over all these years. However, when Hurricane Ian arrived, the home, as well as most other homes here, suffered some damage. Ours was solely roof shingles and pool cage screening. When we contacted Quality to recommend subcontractors they trusted, they immediately responded with references. They are still here for us and that was a comforting feeling, especially in this time of chaos.

Comment: The build went well, no problems, and was pleased with the finished product. We have been in our house for over a year and a half now. The really impressive part is we just weathered hurricane Ian. No damage to the house at all. This is a well built house. Went as far as having the roof inspected just in case, no damage. Our only damage was minor damage to the pool cage. We had a dock on our canal that came up, and moved 25 ft, but the house stood strong. Many other homes in the community suffered damage. Thanks again Quality!

All the contractors they work with did an excellent job, from the home, the pool, the landscaping etc. Like everyone that is having or had a home built in the area we wish it could have been completed sooner but there is nothing that could be done by Quality to make that happen. We would highly recommend going to Quality Homes of PC to have your new home built. If I have one complaint about our experience it would be that there was a lack in communicating to us the progress that was being made on the house. I am not saying that I needed daily updates but once or twice a month would have been nice, all in all we are happy we went with Quality.
