Comment: They have done a huge screen enclosure for my home back in December. Every step of the way was trouble free. I have honestly never dealt with a company as professional as them. Here is what I liked about my experience:- They have kept their word in every single step of the process. They were always forthcoming about dates and deadlines. I am used to dealing with professional service companies in FL, and it is never trouble free.- Theyre pricing was competitive and aligned with the market. They didnt try to overcharge me because I live in a big home, like most of the other vendors I got proposal from. They manufacture their own screens, so you wont pay a markup over the price like most GCs do.- I was anxious during the process, because the size of the screen was huge, and it required some adjustments. Mr. Rupert and his staff were always available, responsive and patient with my anxiety.- After the screen was done, they had to come twice to adjust gutter that was dripping and a screen that came out of the spline. Once again, friction-less and covered under warranty.- They left me a can of the paint for touch-ups.Being my first screen enclosure, my only recommendations related to setting expectations are:- Be prepared to clean the aluminum shavings after its over. They do the best to clean up, but youll still be cleaning it for weeks to come.- Try not to look while its being installed. Its a process and they leave all looking good at the end. Whatever isnt good, they follow up and fix, like a missing screw, or a scuff.Overall I am extremely happy with the outcome and I will never call another screen company again thats not them. And I look forward to doing other home improvements with them.

Everyone from the Sales department, office staff and working crew were very professional and easy to work with. The screen enclosure is very well constructed with a attention to the finishing detail. We are very happy and would highly recommend Dennis and his crew.

Comment: This company exceeded our expectations! We lost the whole thing in a hurricane. The new enclosure was built well and very quickly. Dennis searched to find the exact soffits to match the existing ones. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and courteous. The crew cleaned up after themselves. The quote was good too. We were very pleased with the whole process and results.

Comment: I had Specialty Construction extend my back porch and screen it in. Construction started a few days after the County issued the permit. The whole process took a little over a week. The first day they removed the grass and dug and framed for the footers. The very next day the area was sprayed for termites. A couple days later the concrete was poured.After the weekend the screen crew arrived to frame and started screening. The next day they finished screening and cleaned up the area. I was amazed how sturdy and square the framing is. I am very pleased and I have no problem letting anyone come and look at my porch. Just call Specialty Construction and tell them you would like to see the porch in Cross Tie. They will call me to arrange a time.

Comment: Dennis and Whitley provided great advice and guided me during the entire process of building a deck and constructing the cage. The crew wasvery experienced, which resulted in excellent craftsmanship when building my cage. Neighbors have asked who did the job, and I will continue to recommend they contact Specialty Construction.

Comment: Specialty Construction & Design was contracted through our pool company to install our screen enclosure and we couldnt be happier!! Tom and his team are dedicated, courteous and extremely helpful. These guys worked hard and fast to get our screens up in record time. I was most impressed with their professionalism. They cleaned up after themselves and left our yard extremely clean. Im shocked at the negative reviews but as mentioned, my job was through my pool company. However, I CAN vouch that the crew and our install has been an absolutely amazing experience!!!

Comment: I am absolutely ecstatic about my new pavers and screen enclosure! It took a couple of weeks for the job to get done, but that’s how construction goes! I knew going into it that it wouldn’t get done right away, but once the job was done I couldn’t be more satisfied! Dennis is a nice and funny guy! For all the bad reviews on this business I think you should give them a chance! They do very nice work and like I mentioned before, most people who want work done want it done right away, but you can’t have that mind set in the construction world! I’ve done permitting and such for construction for over 8 years now and nothing is ever quick! Give them time and call every once in a while to check on a time estimation and they’ll do their best! If you call them everyday of course you’re going to get a short tempered contractor!Rating this company 5 stars because they are good people that are just trying to do their best to fit everybody’s schedules and do great work once the job is done!
