Comment: We recently completed a renovation of 2 bathrooms in our home, as well as many other details and changes of light fixtures, flooring, painting, door hardware and more. We hired Villas Construction as they were recommended by our design firm. The whole project took many months as we had various projects for the Villas team to complete. They did every project to perfection. The entre team managed by Nelson were incredibly professional, always on time, worked long days, and were not satisfied unless every detail was perfect. They would work on each area until every detail was exact. They stayed within budget and communicated well throughout the process. John Villa always made himself available as did the whole team. We are extremely happy with their work and craftsmanship. They created built-ins for an office and custom cabinetry and floating shelves for the two bathrooms. Their work is perfection! They are professionals in every way, and we would absolutely hire them again for future projects. We cannot recommend the entire team highly enough!

Comment: John Villa and crew just finished their third project in our home in the past 12 months. First there was the master bathroom renovation, then the main guest bathroom and most recently, a complete kitchen renovation. John, his brother Jonathan and the crew are highly qualified professionals, extremely courteous and respectful in our home and most important, they take pride in their work. Each stage of the project is checked and rechecked to make sure it not only meets the owners needs, but their high standards for quality craftsmanship as well.We enjoy meeting John at his showroom and collaborating and exchanging ideas on materials, style and color of cabinets and countertops. He listens to our wish list and what we are trying to achieve, and will make recommendations based on his experience and incorporate it into our particular space. We have always been guided by his recommendations and have never been disappointed in the outcome.In this latest kitchen project, we used a combination of smooth surfaces on the upper cabinets with no handles and transitioned to a textured wood grain look for the cabinets along the bottom. Quartz composite stone was used both on the countertops and backsplash to minimize grout lines which was one of our goals.John also recommended we use a panel ready dishwasher so he could install a custom panel door to match the rest of the cabinets.My wife and I could not be happier with the outcome. It’s a timeless upgrade that we will enjoy for many years to come.

Comment: John Villa has done several renovation jobs for me before, mainly bathroom and kitchen renovations, and his work on all of them was excellent. I needed to upgrade my windows to hurricane impact windows and although I had several quotes for the project I went with John. I know his work and he agreed to paint the windows after the installation which none of the other contractors included in the project.John did not disappoint and in addition to the excellent work he added quartz window sills and I repainted the house to complete the job. John is also responsive to follow up questions and concerns which most contractors do not do

Comment: After researching and meeting with a handful of contractors to discuss our home renovation, my husband and I decided to go with Villa’s Construction for our project and we could not be happier with our decision. Before hiring, we met with John a few times to discuss our project and at each meeting, he took the time to answer all of our questions, discussing any concerns he/we had, and even offering suggestions and design ideas that we ultimately went with and loved. Not only did he show us that he was an expert in his field, but he was professional and very polite.Once the renovation started, we met Jhonatan who was just as wonderful to work with. He kept us in the loop with everything that was going on and was always available to answer any questions or concerns we may have had. If there was an issue that came up, it was brought to our attention immediately, and John was always up front about everything, which of course we appreciated. The crew was always punctual and very polite. We were living in our home for the majority of the 4 month long renovation, but they made the experience as pleasant as they could, even building a privacy wall for us at one point to keep us (including 3 young kids and a dog) comfortable and away from the construction.My husband and I are so happy with the end result, and we’ve received so many compliments on our home. Even a few neighbors and realtors have reached out excitedly, thinking we were fixing up our house to sell! We can’t thank John, Jhonatan, and the crew enough for what a wonderful job they did. They took all of our ideas and turned our house into the beautiful home that we dreamed of. I highly recommend them and already have them in mind for some other work we plan on doing down the road.

Comment: Im extremely pleased with all of the work that John Villa and his team did for me. We did an addition on our house that included a den, bathroom and BR/office. All together it was adding an additional 500 sq ft. John also did a custom cabinet/entertainment center for me as well as custom office cabinets and desk. All of turned out better than I could have hoped. John is great to work with and has a very good eye for design and helped me make some of the difficult decisions that come with this type of project. I found John to be very upfront and honest and there were no tricks or gotchas in the process. As expected, I changed my mind on a few things and there were surprise challenges that came up, but John was extremely reasonable in negotiating these pieces. This type of project is super hard to get quotes on that are comparable. John was not the most expensive nor the cheapest but somewhere in the middle. The work is super high quality and I was told many times by the various folks inspecting for permits that whoever was doing the work, was doing a really good job. His attention to detail is awesome, and the team wouldnt quit until everything was perfect. Moreover, he was the most upfront and honest of any contractor I talked to about what was included in his quote, what was not, and where I should budget for additional things I would need to purchase. I found everyone on his team very respectful and courteous, which is a big thing in a project such as this. They show up on time, they are quiet, and they clean up and protect the rest of the house from the work they are doing. Thats another big benefit of working with John, that he has his own crew that does most of the work. So he really controls most of the process. I also appreciated how diligent John was in having his team get tested for covid every week in this environment. I doubt that all contractors are on top of this in the same way. We were so happy with how everything turned out that we are using Villas Construction to redo the kitchen now as well!

Comment: You are probably reading this review because you are looking to hire a GC! Look no further and hire Villas Construction, RIGHT NOW. You will not be disappointed. John and his team are amazing. Their quality of workmanship is second to none. They will not stop until their work is perfect. Our punch list was so short because they make sure to get it right before it has to be pointed out. If there is something that needs to be corrected, however, John makes sure it is taken care of immediately, no questions asked. Beyond working to perfection, they work quickly without sacrificing quality. We were given a schedule and they were always ahead of it. No setbacks or pushed out deadlines. By the midpoint of the project, I knew I could trust that they would be finished on time. So much so, that we scheduled our non-refundable, catered, housewarming party for just two days after their scheduled completion date. And, of course, our project was finished in time. :) Okay, I get it, now you are thinking you will have to pay an arm and a leg for such quality and efficiency...… rest assured, that is not the case. Villas Construction even came in lower than other bids we received.We wanted several upgrades and custom work in our beach condo. We walked through our unit with John and pointed out what we wanted done. John had several amazing suggestions that I hadnt thought of that really made a difference. Small changes that made a huge difference in the feel of the condo. Everything he suggested really brought our condo to the next level, with a jaw dropping WOW factor. He didnt push his suggestions on us. There were no high pressure sales. They were just options and suggestions based on what we wanted our condo to be in the end. I could go into detail about the exact work they did for us, but all you need to know is that EVERTHING from electrical, to doors, to drywall, to custom cabinets, lighting, counters etc.... was perfect and affordable. So whatever you are looking for, John Villa, with Villas Construction is your guy!

Comment: I have used Villas Construction & Remodeling on several large projects for my home (complete bathroom remodeling, interior painting and bedroom remodeling) and I recommend them highly. Most recently, they completed exterior painting, exterior light replacement and other smaller repairs while prepping including stucco repair and waterproofing. The difference that Villa Construction brings vs. other contractors I have used over the years is in their quality of work. John Villa, the owner, is personally involved in quality control and follow up to make sure the projects are completed on time and in a manner that satisfies the customer. We were so impressed we hired them again for our guest bathroom renovation amongst other minor projects.John Villa and his brother Jonathan are professional and knowledgeable. They worked with us every step of the way. Both have an abundance of ideas and we pretty much went along with all their suggestions.Villas Construction suggested several vendors for purchase of tile, doors, etc. We were pleased with all the referrals. Their attention to detail and how thorough they were throughout the project is impressive.We made several changes and additions as the project progressed and they were patient and accommodating regardless of our requests.Overall the pluthera of knowledge between the two is to be admired. Comment: I took a long time to find and choose my contractor for a complete house remodel. It is not easy. There are lots of pitfalls and land mines in this industry that you must navigate around. Let me save you that time and trouble. Villas Construction is the real deal. John, the owner is an absolute gem of a find. Whatever negative connotations you have about General Contractors will be wiped away by John Villa. My project started out one way and kept growing and changing thru out. None of that was a problem for Villas Construction. From the first meeting to the last walk thru, I always felt comfortable and taken care of. All the work is in-house. He has his own employees and does not sub contract out. Because of this the quality of work is amazing and consistent. They truly mean it when they say satisfaction is guaranteed. John will take care of whatever issues that may arise no matter how big or small. The best part is they really do it all. From a brand new kitchen to a brand new bathroom and everything in between. It is truly appreciated to know that you dont have to worry or fight with your GC over the finishes. If its not right, he will make it right. Obviously because of that you should know John wont be the cheapest option. However if you care about finishing on time, finishing on agreed price and have it come out as PERFECT as you want then there is no other choice. Comment: John and his crew did an excellent job and were very easy to work with. The guys were polite and considerate, took steps to protect my flooring and furnishings, and cleaned up at the end of each day. I am very happy with the quality of the workmanship. They also did a great job of working with the city staff and inspectors, who threw some curve balls at us. When that happened, they did what had to be done quickly and with a positive attitude. At times they worked while we were not home, and we were totally comfortable with that. John was accessible and responsive any time I had questions or concerns. I have used many contractors prior to hiring Villas, and this is the first time that I have been found someone that I would use for another project. I definitely recommend them.

Comment: Absolutely fantastic job in every respect. Take a look at the pictures. John Villa and his team took a tired 2 bedroom beach condo and made it into a 1 bedroom masterpiece that rivals anything out there. This was a COMPLETE gut job and no easy feat. We did not have to hire a designer as John came up with great ideas and options for us. He brought up many things to consider that we would not have even thought of. These guys can do the impossible and get it right the first time. Attention to detail is the name of the game with Villas Remodeling. They dont cut corners or use inferior materials. Impeccable wood work, and the tile installation is flawless. John has the best dry wall guy that I have ever seen and made the old popcorn ceilings perfectly smooth. To give you some idea of the craftsmanship used, he sets the corner beads with a level. From custom cabinets to completely replacing the wiring, plumbing, air-conditioning ducts and soffits they did it all. The crew is well dressed, polite and professional. Even the condo management was impressed which is saying something. One great thing is that John is responsive. If you call him or send a text he will respond promptly if not on the spot. John or his brother Johnathan will visit the work site every day when work is in progress to make sure it is being done correctly and address any issues that might arise. He provides regular updates even if not asked. The best thing is that he is honest. This company is his baby and he takes pride in his work. It clearly shows .

Comment: Villas Remodeling is absolutely THE BEST! We were a completely inexperienced couple just trying to remodel our home and stretch our money as much as we can. We found them on Angies list and hoped for the best. Little did we know that we were going to get the Crème Da La Crème of professionals! Dealing with John and his team was a blessing. Their level of professionalism was exquisite. John and his team not only helped us make our decisions but also educated us about each choice we had to make . They manage to do the job that I know would have taken an average JOE double the time and kept the communication open through the whole process. I have nothing negative to say about them. That being said we recommend these guys with our eyes closed and cannot wait until we have the opportunity to work in our home again with them.
